Susan worked with our all-volunteer bookkeeping staff to prepare us for our first financial audit. She provided the missing pieces that we needed, such as a system of customer account reconciliations and creation of internal policies for discount accounting and procedures for tax reporting. Susan was always on time, on budget, and responding to our needs as they came up. She was able to work with our CPA as well as with our volunteers who have little financial background. Susan has trained our staff and has done work in our accounting system to allow us to recognize revenue and expenses monthly instead of annually. This allows our board to have monthly financial statements that are more accurate and useful.
